In it for the MONEY Honey

2 of my favorite things
Are you in this for the money or the honey{human bonding relationships}? Do you blog just for the fun of it or do you blog for the money? Or do you do both?

Can you walk that fine line in between the two? Can you succeed in having a blog that you enjoy and that is personal to you, but still make money of from too?

It SHOULD be possible, IS possible right? Why not!!!

I shouldn't have to have posts on SEO marketing techniques {of which frankly I know little or nothing about, it is all gibberish to me},or something similar just an example, for people to want to come and read my words and thoughts.

I do know that without readership I will never get anywhere and without loyalty I am doomed.....failure is not an option for me and never has been.

That is why I will always stay loyal and true to the people that have helped me to even get this far into my blogging and all of the realizations that have come with it. I have learned a couple of lessons since logging on and starting to blog for myself. Not all of them have been easy for me, especially the patience part, that has never been my strong suit. But they are well learned and I will continue to pass them on and share my experiences.

Share on faithful ones share on!
Catch you later!

New Blog started ~ no I'm not crazy ~ I swear!

Good morning everyone ~ it is very early in the morning and I have already been up for almost two hours already!

I am very excited about my new blog that I started last night/afternoon!! I have decided that I just have way to much to blog about and not enough room on just one blog to do it in.

For one I have a lot of different interests ~ a lot!!!!

Two, I have a lot of ideas that are constantly swirling through my head and I need to write {blog} them down somewhere and I don't want to ruin a potentially good thing here, by clogging this one all up with a bunch of shall we say, not such good content?!?

Three, I want to be able to continue to up my writing skills as a blogger and continue to integrate humor and research to bring readers stories that they will be interested in, but still have my own sense of style and flare in them.

Geeezzz... this is starting to sound like a exam paper lay out!!!!

Four, I like making people laugh and that is what most of the content of my other site is going to be about. There will be some satire and dry wit thrown in to make a good recipe, but mostly I have found that I need the mixer to keep my writing from becoming too dark.

Well and finally this is my original {baby} so to speak and I don't want to mess it up! If that makes any sense to anyone. I have put a lot of time and effort and well, everything into this blog for a long time now and I want to continue to do so, but just better. ;-)

Enough for now, check out the new site if you so choose it is on mybloglog in my communities, and also under blogger. Hope you all have an outstanding day!

Catch you later

Blogging Traffic Sites

I have had the priviledge of being the visitor on some very excellent blogs recently and just wanted to give some shout outs to some of those blogs for all of you interested in something new!

Marc is one of those bloggers that can find the words for just about everything! I found one of his posts especially ran true with me, "Green Eyed Monster", and would love for you all to read it and give him a comment or two if you do stop by and read his blog. I also had to wonder on how small of a world it is, because I used to live in Tempe, AZ and that is where Marc is based. Just a small tid-bit. ;-)

Another great blog that I have been reading lately is from Marie I personally love reading personal blogs! I myself write some pretty personal stuff on here sometimes, but not as close to the heart as some! I have to admire the strength it takes to put yourself out there for the world to see. Please leave a comment if you stop by, she is a very nice lady.

If you like blogs about how to make your blog better or how to get more traffic to your sites, try chilledbeer's blog
Chilledbeer He is a rather new blogger like myself, but from reading articles and posts that he has done, and also from skipping over into his other blogs, he has learned alot in just a short few months and is someone that we could all probably learn from! Check him out!

I also found a funny blog with some good jokes and posts that I found rather funny and have visited a couple of times that I thought was good. Check it out at
Wasting-your-time I especially like the article on "Why I Am As Nice As Possible", good reading, and the reading test is hilarious!

Now I have to tell all of you that I found all of these sites while getting traffic to my own blog here. All of these sites where on blogexplosion! I love that site! I finally got approved so now maybe some other people will be coming and reading!

Leave me some comments if you liked my suggestions! Or even if you didn't. I like to hear that someone is reading my blog! I think we all do, to be honest. ;-)

Cleaning Poem- Joke of the day 03/18/2007

In case you missed it yesterday, I posted it on the blog itself. Let me know what you think of the daily joke, and if you have any ideas, feel free to email them. ;-)

I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'computering',
And I had to answer "yes."
He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.
I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my work...
I didn't mean to 'click.'
But click, I did, and oops
I found A real absorbing site
That I got SO way into...
I was into it all night.
sigh
Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess...
While I sit here on my hiney.
((((((((hahahahahahah))))))

Laugh! It's funny!

Gold Star Mothers invite Hillary Clinton!

I received this very disturbing email from a very close friend of mine yesterday. I enclosed all of the email for all of you readers to enjoy and hopefully be just as disturbed and disgusted with the Clinton family and Hillary Clinton as I am myself!

I have stated on my blog before that I do not think that Hillary Clinton should be president, especially our FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT and here is just another very good reason why not!

Please read the whole story and judge for yourself. There is a very big surprise for all of you at the end! ;-)

Gold Star Mothers is an organization made up of women whose sons were killed
in military combat during service in
the United States Armed Forces.
Recently a delegation of New York State Gold Star Mothers made a trip to
Washington, DC, to discuss various
concerns with their elected Representatives. According to published reports,
there was only one politician who refused
to meet with these ladies.
Can you guess which politician that might be?
Was it New York Senator Charles Schumer? Nope, he met with them.
Try again. Do you know anyone serving in the Senate who has never showed
anything but contempt for our military?
Do you happen to know the name of any politician in Washington who's husband
once wrote of his loathing for the
military? Now you're getting warm! You got it! None other than the Queen
herself, Hillary Rotten Clinton. She
refused repeated requests to meet with the Gold Star Mothers.
Now, please don't tell me you're Surprised This woman wants to be President
of the United States --- and there is a
huge percentage of Voters who are eager to help her achieve that goal.

May you sleep in peace always...and please....hug or thank a Veteran for
that privilege. Think about this one !!!
Don't forget, our girl, Hillary Rodham Clinton, as a New York Senator, now
comes under this fancy congressional
Retirement and Staffing Plan. It's common knowledge that, in order for her
to establish NYS residency, they purchased
a million+ dollar house in upscale Chappaqua, NY.

Makes sense. Now, they are entitled to Secret Service protection for life.
Still makes sense. Here is where it becomes
interesting. The mortgage payments hover at about $10,000 per month BUT, an
extra residency had to be built within
the acreage in order to house the Secret Service agents.. The Clinton's now
charge the Secret Service $10,000 monthly
rent for the use of said Secret Service residence and that rent is just
about equal to their mortgage payment, meaning
that we, the tax payers, are paying the Clinton's mortgage, their
transportation, their safety and security, their 12 man
staff, and it's all perfectly legal.

Sincerely, Cdr. Hamilton McWhorter USN (ret)
PS: Please forward this to as many people as you can. We don't want this
woman to even think of running for
President.

Now for the kicker! I did my research before posting this article and found several references as to when this email was first circulated and found out that the incident that is described in the email happened in May 26,2001! Back when Hillary Clinton was still a newbie into office!

Quoting from Urbanlegends.com:

According to Georgianna Carter-Krell, National President of The American Gold Star Mothers, Inc., the above allegations are a misrepresentation of an incident that actually happened in Hillary Clinton's office in 2001. The following explanation was posted on the organization's Website:

With regard to the NewsMax article concerning our organization, the American Gold Star Mothers, Inc., deeply regret the misunderstanding about Senator Hillary Clinton. The two mothers who visited Washington did not have an appointment with the Senator and she was not in her office on that day. We would appreciate it if the e-mails and negative comments about Senator Clinton would cease.

One has to wonder if he maybe was called and asked to say something due to all the bad publicity that was involved with the original releasing of the article and subsequent emails? The very last thing that Hillary would want at that time in her career would have been more bad publicity. She had just been voted into office.

Here is a quote supposedly from Hillary herself that I also took from Urbanlegends.:
Clinton herself apologized for the incident, attributing the slight to coping with a skeletal, undertrained staff in the early days of her term.

There is more going on to say that she is now supposedly keeping tabs on them and helping them with their legislation that they are trying to pass through congress, but I didn't go that far into that side of the story.

Even though it turns out that she really didn't do anything wrong in the end, I still don't trust her, and have every reason not to vote her into office still.
It is too easy to blame it on staffers in your office when you see that an incident has a negative ripple in the media.

Especially when you can claim that you weren't in your office at the time that event happened. Who is going to come out in public and say that you were? No one. Hind sight is always 20/20, and congressman/woman and senators have the easiest means of covering their own collective {butts}, the media.

I could really wish that we had a better representative of women that was running for president that Hillary Clinton!

Thanks for reading....Post me some comments on what you think of Hillary Clinton!

Use Big Words! - Joke

I will just briefly apologize for the profanity at the end, but I just couldn't resist sharing this little story/joke with all of you! I have had experience with the language thing with my own children in school already, so this one really struck a chord with me. I have been giggling for the last couple of minutes since I received this little email. thanks cris!

Here goes:

The new first-graders were trying very hard to adjust. The biggest hurdle
they faced was that the teacher insisted on "NO baby talk!"

"You need to use 'Big People' words," she was always reminding them.

She asked Chris what he had done over the weekend? "I went to visit my
Nana."

"No, you went to visit your GRANDMOTHER. Use 'Big People' words!"

She then asked Mitchell what he had done "I took a ride on a choo-choo."

She said, "No, you took a ride on a TRAIN. You must remember to use 'Big
People' words."

She then asked little Alec what he had done? "I read a book," he replied.

"That's WONDERFUL!" the teacher said. "What book did you read?"

[I love this]

Alec thought real hard about it, then puffed out his little chest with great
pride, and said, "Winnie the SHIT."

Something to talk about

Here is something for all of you moms and dads out there to chew on and maybe get a little laugh out of.

I am a stay at home mom of three children. Don't get me wrong, I love all three of them very dearly. I would not give them up for the world, or trade them for anything or any amount of money. But to be honest they drive me insane on most any given day of the week and weekend!

I have gotten to the point with my children where I dont' like to spank them anymore, because I feel like once I start it just seems like it is a never ending story. Now don't go thinking that I beat my children or anything like that, because I don't. Not by a long shot.

I do believe in spankings, yes. I grew up with spankings, even though I can count on one hand how many I received in my childhood. And let me tell you I richly deserved everyone of those spankings that I did get!!! (Thanks mom) They were very memorable!

My children have learned that I don't like to spank them, I don't like to have to get them in trouble. I would much rather that they listen to me the first time when they are told something. But, this also works to my disadvantage too. They have now come up with a plan to try and talk themselves around me.

This is where the driving me insane part comes in. Have you ever tried to talk sense with a 7,5, and 4 year old child? Has it ever worked for you? Have you ever tried to explain to a 4 year old that you cannot put a whole roll of toilet paper in the toilet because it will overflow and then mommy will have to then pull out all of the sopping wet toilet paper, plunge the toilet, and then adding insult to injury have to clean up all of the water that has spilled out of the toilet?!? Have you?!? It really does not work. I have tried it.

I have also tried explaining, very rationally mind you, to my 7 year old, that you cannot hit your brother for calling you names and then not expect to have to sit in time out, or get a spanking if it was really bad. Just because you get called a name does not justify hitting. His response to me was and I quote, "When we get in trouble you spank us, so I was just getting him in trouble and saving you the trouble mom." end quote. How cute.

My 7 year old is now trying to save me the trouble of punishing his younger siblings for minor offenses. How to explain that it is not his responsibility? I have tried to explain that one to him about a thousand times and I swear it really goes in one ear and out the other and is not retained in the little gray matter in between.

My 5 year old thinks it is ok to yell names at his brother and sister when he doesn't get his own way, and to threaten time outs if they don't give him what he wants. Starting to sound familiar? I am starting to feel like a broken record in my own home. Dinner time is another story. I would swear the child likes ice cold food! Yuck! No amount of coaxing, yelling, threating, bribing, you name it will get this child to eat faster than the pace of a sloth!

I have read numerous books, articles, you name it to try and get ideas and suggestions on how to deal with my children and everyone of them says to talk with them. Reason with them. Well, I have tried that, and the end result has been for them to turn around and use my own reasoning on me!

I guess I can say one thing for my children. They are smart! And cute!

Random Quote

Even a little dog can piss on a big building.

- Jim Hightower

I thought this was rather funny. I might find some other use for it somewhere else down the line, but wanted to share it with all of you today.

Blogexplosion

I have signed up for this program called blogexplosion.com. They send people to your blog in exchange for you visiting other people's blogs. Seems pretty fair. So far I have run across some pretty strange people, and some pretty normal people.

And yes, to be brutually honest, some very boring people that I am wondering why they even blog.

I guess there are probably some people out there that probably wonder the same thing about me too, though.

I guess to each his own. I have bookmarked a couple of the more memorable sites and will add their links on the sidebar in the next day or two, or maybe later today if I can get the site to work right for me.

You should all check this out though if you are interested in seeing all of the different blogs that are out there and getting traffic to your own blogs. It is totally free and easy to do. By the time the counter runs down you can usually read the first page of the blog and see if you would be interested in ever coming back to that blog ever again.

I am also trying to be a "responsible blogger" and leaving comments on some of the sites that I have visited today so that these people know that, yes, there is someone out there actually reading their thoughts. ;-)

Have a good one.

My article on how Bipolar and ADHD have affected my life

This article is a rather personal one that I felt needed to be wrote. Most people do not understand what people go through that have Bipolar. When you add ADHD on top of that you have a whole new bag of worms that you have to deal with.

I would really appreciate the little community of bloggers that I have built that come and view my blog to leave me some feedback either here on my blog or on Associated content on this article. It would mean a great deal to me.

Please just remember that this is a personal accounting of my experiences with the disorder and not what happens to everyone or what will happen to everyone that is diagnosed, but it can give you some insight into what some of us go through on an everyday basis as we are "dealing" with our worlds, so to speak.

Thanks in advance for the comments. I look forward to hearing from all of you.

On And Poppin!

On And Poppin!

I found this amazing gossip blogger a little bit ago! If you are into the celebrities and what they are up to, check out this amazing blog. She will keep you up to date on what is happening now.

Amazing pictures and down to earth commentary!

Am I really that ignorant?

I have been in correspondence of sorts with a fellow blogger for about a month and a half now by the name of Jose. Hope you don't mind that I used your name! ;-)

Anyways, I have come to the conclusion that when I took on blogging that I had no idea how big the concept really was. I thought that I would get on here and type in my thoughts and traffic would come and I would correspond with people all over the world and hopefully maybe influence someone in a good way.

I have in my own little way done that, but not as much as I have really wanted to. I guess it would be appropriate to say that I feel into the old hype of "If you build it they will come.".

Unfortunately it does not work that easily. Networking and links are hard work and not easy. To me it is frustrating. I get looped into the "bad link" sites that get you no exposure for a lot of work and little return.

I have to hand it to my blogging buddy Jose for finding his way into all the right places. He has become a PROBLOGGER since starting to blog in just the last couple of months. I wish him all the success in the world.

Jose is an inspiration to me, that it can be done. I am even more determined to make this happen for me now. Maybe not problogger status, but something close. lol Whatever that may be.

Hillary Clinton as our First Woman President?

Should we really elect Hillary Clinton as our first woman President? I have my very serious doubts as to whether this would really be a good idea or not. I have never really liked Hillary as a political figurehead or so to speak as a 'woman' either. Don't ask me what I really mean by that, I guess I go so far as to say that I get a weird 'vibe' from her.

My very personal {opinion} on this very important matter would have to be a great resounding NO!

I do not feel that a personal that has very close ties to Watergate; The Monica Lewinsky scandals, admittedly through her husband,; voting yes on whether or not we should go to Iraq in the first place, and various other sub-par behavior if I were to dig enough, or rattle around in my brain enough to want to find out, should be the first woman to be elected to the Presidency in our history.

I personally feel that any woman that does not have the {balls} so to speak to stand up to her husband about his infidelity most definitely could not run our country any way that it needs to be run.

Not that I necessarily agree with how it has been run for some time now.
